PALAK PANEER PALAK PANEER Cooking Time: As Required Ingredients:
250 gms Spinach (Paalak)
2 Onion (chopped)
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
2 green chillies (grounded)
2 tbsp oil (or butter)
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp tumeric powder (haldi)
250 gms fried paneer
3-4 tblsp cream.

Method: 1.Wash and clean spinach. 2.Blanch spinach leaves ( blanch kernay ka method yeh hai k just boil water when it is boiling dip palak leave for a while abt 30 second and then take them out and immediately immerse it in chilled water) 3.Make a soft paste of spinach in a blender 4.Heat oil in a pan and add ginger, garlic, green chili paste and chopped onions, saute till light brown. 5.Add salt, red chilli powder and haldi. Mix well. 6.Add diced tomato and stir. (it is optional , if u like to add yoghurt instead of tomatoes u surely can) 7.In the meantime, fry paneer cubes till the sides of the cheese cubes get light brown. 8.Soak fried paneer in warm water for 10 minutes before adding to the spinach. This yields softer cubes. 9.Add fried paneer cubes. 10.Cook for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with cream. Sprinkle the finely chopped green coriander. SAMREEN
