Apple Crisp
Cooking time: 25-30 Minutes
Serves : 4
Ingredients :
4-5 Apples
1 tsp Cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp Nutmeg powder
1tsp to 1tbsp lemon juice
1 cup Sugar
1 cup All purpose Flour
1/2 cup Butter or Margarine
Method :
1-Peel and make thin slices of the apples.
Keep aside.
2-Mix sugar and flour. Then work in the butter to make a crumbly mixture.
3-Now butter a 9 inch square baking pan and spread the sliced apples in it.
4-Then sprinkle it with the spices and lemon juice.
5-Now spread the crumbly mixture prepared earlier over the fruit.
6-Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
7-Bake uncovered about 1 hour or until the fruit is tender and the crumbly mixture is lightly browned.
